Initial Consult and Treatment (90 minutes) – $105
Return Consult and Treatment (60 minutes) – $80
Note: these prices are for payment taken at the time of service, such as when the treatment isn’t covered by insurance. These listed prices are to help people who are paying directly be able to potentially afford the treatment. Insurance rates will differ, and may be higher or lower – see below.
Prescribed herbal medicine is an additional cost – usually $30-$40 for one month’s supply of herbs. Some herbal formulas are in stock, whereas others will need to be ordered and arrive approximately a week later.
Accepted forms of payment: All major credit cards, debit cards, cash, HSA (Health Savings Accounts) and FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts).
Insurance: click here and enter your insurance information to verify if your plan covers acupuncture as a benefit or not. You will receive a response from me within 2 business days. Insurance primarily covers acupuncture for pain, but some plans might cover it for other conditions.
I’m in-network with Aetna, most BCBS plans in Michigan, and am currently in the process of joining the networks of numerous other major plans. It doesn’t make too much of a difference if I’m an in-network provider or not. So long as your plan covers acupuncture, I can bill it as an out-of-network provider, or can also provide a superbill. I can help you make sense of your insurance, and help you figure out the best options to take for receiving acupuncture. Feel free to contact me for more information!
